Clarityworks has two child-friendly online lessons based on real dyslexia intervention, so your child can build decoding and spelling skills without daily tears and battles.

These courses are perfect if:

Your child is 5–12 years and struggling to meet reading targets at school
You suspect dyslexia or have a diagnosis and don’t know what to do at home
Homework ends in frustration or avoidance, and you’re worried they’re falling further behind

ClarityWorks Course 1: Reading Foundations.

(5 lessons). Covering all the essential skills needed to build a strong reading foundation in 5 child-friendly video lessons! This course explores phonemic awareness, letter-sound relationships, decoding strategies, spelling and blending techniques. ClarityWorks Course 2: Reading Fluency

(10 lessons). Perfect for children who have grasped the basics of decoding (reading) or those who have just completed our "Reading Foundations" course, this program is the next step in your child's journey to becoming a confident, independent and enthusiastic reader! This 10-lesson course builds on decoding skills and helps children move toward smoother, more confident reading.

I'm Emma Thistlethwayte

I am a qualified teacher and specialist literacy educator with over 15 years of experience supporting children who find reading and learning difficult. Through ClarityWorks, I help families understand how learning develops and what to do when it isn’t clicking. I am trained in evidence-based, structured literacy approaches and am passionate about giving parents clear, practical guidance they can use at home. While my 1:1 sessions are limited, I support families through online courses and parent consultations designed to build skills, confidence and clarity.
